A past theme for the Team Retreat Camp
was Trek
to the Top TM. The Trek
to the Top TM Adventure
Initiatives Program incorporated a team climb up to the top with team building initiatives along the way. It
metaphorically represented the growth and challenges a team face as
they gain the
experience and insight to be successful in their quest to be the best
they can be. It was a flash forward of the journey
through
the season ahead. As each step gets you closer, the team faced new opportunities to grow and learn. Step by
step, your group can get to the top. With hard work, fun, teamwork,
perseverance and commitment, your team will get to the top.
Standing on top is a memory of pure exhilaration. The
team earn rewards
for their efforts and a sense of camaraderie that lasts
throughout the season. Each member of the team received a
Team Link TM memento standing on top!
What
is an Adventure Initiatives Program?
Throughout
a team building program, a series of activities create an open
environment for team members to get to know each other, learn to
work together, open communication, build trust, develop value in
each person, problem solve, and learn to perform under stress as a
team to accomplish common goals.
This is accomplished through exploration.
The group’s cooperation and confidence will grow within
the team through the interactions designed in the program.
The experiential process gives the group an avenue and opportunity to
learn and grow in specifically directed areas. Team building
is the training we do that metaphorically connects the experiences
with real life team skills.
How our team interacts is a core foundation for our
success. A team retreat is an opportunity to accelerate the
growth that occurs in team building.
