New for 2010 will be the Peak Team Training Camp
where Mike Welch comes to your site and works with your
coaching staff to lead a camp for your team players.
This option is very economical, and a great value for
players and coaches. The cost is only $108.31 per
person for 36 participants (compared to $179 for our
traditional travel camp).
The ultimate in team training, as the team
coaches become a vital part of the camp experience.
Your team coaches work with and learn VBcamps training
methods. Included is one year free phone and
electronic coaches consultations. All players and
coaches receive the VBcamps backpack and VBcamps "tutor"
water bottle. This camp option saves travel and staff
salaries, hence saving your players and program money too.
Cost is $3,499 flat fee for a 3 day camp that is in a
location that we can drive (distances further than 400 miles
may have an additional travel allowance fee. We can
also give you a quote for a two-day camp, or travel further
than 400 miles away.
One-day clinic prices start at $49 for 36
participants and $59 for 24 participants when the VBcamps
staff can travel to your location by car the same day as the
clinic. Hotels, airline tickets
and rental car fees are added if required for the camp
staff.
Three-day summer camp prices start at $179 for 36
participants and $199 for 24 participants when the VBcamps
staff can travel to your location by car. Airline tickets
and rental car fees are added if required for the camp
staff. Lodging costs are already built into this
price.
VBcamps handles all travel expenses (lodging, food, and
travel), so you do not need to worry about those details.
If you have access to complimentary hotel rooms, please put
in notes so we can adjust your price accordingly.
A
non-refundable deposit of
$500 ($1000 if plane tickets are purchased) is required to secure dates. We can pencil in your
dates before a deposit is made, and notify you if some other
group has requested your dates. At that time, a deposit
would be due to confirm your dates.
Final payment is due 3 weeks
before camp begins.
Peak Volleyball
TM Camps
Get
to the top. A great camp to help
beginner through advanced players 6th to 12th grade reach their peak.
Fun positive atmosphere and a great training curriculum. Warm up
to music. Based on the experience levels of participants, training
will range from fundamental skills to advanced position specific
training. Team system training in offense, defense, and transition
is also integrated into the camp experience. Drills progress from
high feedback repetitions to fun fast paced game-like scenarios.
Beginners get exposed to the game, learn the skills and have fun with
the sport. Intermediate players develop skills, position specific
training, team system training and fun competitive drills.
Advanced players enhance position specific skills with collegiate level
intensity. Everyone enjoys the famous outdoor tournament!
Take your game to the highest level. Players are grouped by
experience level and training is adjusted to
the ability.
Team Retreat Camp
TM for Volleyball
Propel your team to become its best.
Build trust, confidence, team work, and volleyball specific
skills! The Team Retreat Camp is a three-day camp for high
school Varsity and JV teams that has the perfect combination of
skills training, team building, and competitions. There are great
skills training sessions that
emphasize
player fundamentals, position skills, and team systems. Teams
participate in team building sessions. The Team Retreat Camp also
has two great competitions. The famous beach tournament (in beach
city locations, grass volleyball tournament in mountain locations) and
the capstone indoor tournament finale!

Festival Team which two-time Olympic
Gold Medalist Misty May (top
row third from right) was a team member.
As a USA coach, Mike also coached Misty
in the 1994 US
Olympic Festival and as Head Coach of the 1993 USA Youth
National Team.
Mike Welch was head coach of the
USA Youth National Team at the US Olympic Training Center in
1996 with
Olympic Best Scorer and Silver Medalist Logan Tom (top
row third from right).
